Millipedes are the cleanup crew/groundskeepers! They eat fungi, decaying vegetable matter, and occasional carrion and so help recycle nutrients back into the soil. They are not able to bite humans (that would be centipedes) and are totally harmless and helpful.

Consider that old historical monk haircut. The tonsure looks like that on purpose, to keep them humble and away from temptations of sin. And it still works exactly as intended. my mother taught me to crochet when i was young. she was left handed, so she taught me how in the bathroom mirror so her hands would be in the right position.

i find something poetic about that. here in this bathroom mirror, through generations, we adapt to our young who have a different way of learning and interacting with the world
